After carefully packing our bags, Year 3 and 4 prepared to be evacuated today! First we had to assemble in the hall.

We then set off for the ‘station’ – none of the children knew where we were going or how long it would take to get there. (We actually only walked out of the gate, back in again and round the field, but the uncertainty was part of the process!)

After that we met together in the hall and were split up into 3’s, where the children had to share with their new evacuee partners what they had decided to bring. There were some interesting choices!

It was a very interesting morning and was a super stimulus for some of our writing work – well done Columba class.
